KW'T AFZUT ('Kavadh, may he increase' in Pahlawi) Draped bust of Kavadh I to right, wearing mural crown with wings and frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper field to left, five-pointed star; in upper field to right, crescent; to left, date; to right, MA (name of the mint in Pahlawi). SNS III, pl. 131, 221. Lightly toned. Extremely fine.
